A Taoist heaven for middle-level bureaucrats with a penchant for paperwork in triplicate. Strolling through the grounds of this hidden gem, reveals a religion that appears tailormade for a country governed by the apparatchiks of the Chinese Communist Party, their professed atheism notwithstanding.
Hidden gem- London's charming Mews houses always trigger the imagination, making us wonder, where in other cities, did mansion dwellers park their horses, carriages, hay and helpers. Bathhurst Mews in Bayswater is the only remaining stable to this day.
This sounds like a precursor of a time in distant future after pesky stuff such as climate change, global warming and dirty oceans have been addressed - and a FOLKLORE museum built to showcase the follies of our present day governance and theories 🙂
Brilliant and hilarious as always.

Made my day!

Just goes to show that the past, present and future are not as distinct as we may imagine :-)
