Great article on a difficult topic with plenty of grey areas. On the AirBNB crackdown, Thailand (heavily dependent on tourism) has done a similar thing. You can only rent one if you're staying longer than 30 days, which seems reasonable to me-- allowing hotels to operate while also limiting the amount of Airbnbs that can be built. I was unaware of the NFT project in Indonesia, but that seems like a useful way to spread cultural capital while reducing envrionmental damage.
